Last night in class we had to play this board game called Dirty Water. It's almost exactly like Monopoly, but three times as long and not fun at all. You basically have this lake that you have to take care of by filling the spaces with fish, bacteria, algae, and even weeds, to maintain a healthy lake and not pollute your neighbors. I got a kick outta the "weeds" icon because it actually looked like two large buds from a weed plant. I couldn't help but laugh to myself when the guy in charge of the chips and bank would say things like, "I can't find any weeds" or "you need weeds?". Every time someone would throw the dice on the board, all the chips would get scattered and messy, and half of the time we didn't even know how to play. Eventually we got the hang of it and how boring it actually was, so one brave soul from my table said, "F**k it, you guys wanna bet to see who wins? This is taking too long". We all agreed and I ended up winning. Soo glad that guy decided to step up and call that one out, I needed the 20 extra credit points!
